Death by Force

On February 25, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at an apartment complex on the northwest side of Indianapolis, resulting in the death of 26-year-old Darien Montez Pope. The incident happened early Sunday morning at an apartment complex located on Gable Lane Drive, just off West 38th Street near the White River. Police responded to the scene around 2 a.m. and found Pope dead from gunshot wounds.
