In the summer of 2014, the life of 15-year-old J'Von Joseph Ellis was cut tragically short. A student at Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis, J'Von was fatally wounded by gunfire on July 21, 2014. His death was one of many that year attributed to violence in the city.
