Avery Flynn, a 20-year-old male, passed away on November 21, 2014, in Gary, Indiana. He was a former student of East Chicago Central High School and was employed at an Amazon warehouse at the time of his death.

Flynn was found shot to death alongside Patrick Hopson Jr., who was also 20, in an SUV parked on Massachusetts Street in the Glen Park neighborhood. Law enforcement was alerted to the scene after residents reported hearing gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, patrolmen discovered bot ...
