Robert Armstead, a 29-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on April 2, 2015. According to reports, Armstead was discovered with a gunshot wound on the evening of April 1, 2015, in the 4400 block of Connecticut Street. The Gary Police Department responded to a call about a gunshot victim at approximately 6:10 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Armstead injured and lying on the ground.
