Melvin Travis Jr., an 18-year-old from Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on July 19, 2015. Born on November 2, 1996, Melvin was known for his vibrant personality and was a beloved member of his community. He had recently received his GED from Logansport Community School Corporation in January 2015 and was a member of the Village First Baptist Church.
