Kevin Blackmon, a 28-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on September 27, 2020. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. in the 700 block of Broadway, where Blackmon was fatally shot. The Lake County coroner's office confirmed that his death was ruled a homicide. Blackmon sustained 14 gunshot wounds during the shooting.
