In the spring of 2015, the life of 14-year-old Dezjaun Sanders was tragically cut short in Elkhart, Indiana. On the afternoon of Tuesday, April 14, Sanders was shot in the 400 block of Harrison Street. He was rushed to Elkhart General Hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries in the emergency department. His mother, Tiffany Sanders, expressed profound grief, stating that her son had the 'whole world ahead of him' before his dreams were abruptly ended. She had moved her family to Elkhart ...
