In the early evening of November 13, 2023, Garrett Caley Weber, a 43-year-old White male, was shot and killed outside his home in Elkhart, Indiana. The incident occurred in the 26000 block of Lake Drive, near Simonton Lake, just after 7 p.m. At the time of the shooting, Mr. Weber was working on his daughter's bicycle. A 14-year-old present at the scene called the authorities to report the shooting. When first responders arrived, they found Mr. Weber deceased.
