Billy Joe Cox, born on October 10, 1942, in Elwood, Indiana, was raised in Alexandria and later resided in Anderson. He passed away on June 2, 2015, at the age of 72. Throughout his career, Billy was employed at Barber Manufacturing and Shacks Rubber Company, eventually retiring from Thompson Consumer Electronics in 1999. He is survived by his wife, Patricia E.
