Darlene Marie Trujillo, 20 years old at the time of her disappearance, was last seen on July 4, 2001, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. That day, she dropped her young son off at his grandmother's house near 11th Street and NW Headingly Avenue, telling her she would be taking a two-day trip to Arizona. Darlene was reportedly accompanied by a Hispanic man identified only as "Jorge." However, she never returned from her trip, and her family reported her missing a week later.
