In the early morning hours of May 23, 2021, the life of Dominque Dewayne McNair, a 28-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short in Fargo, North Dakota. McNair was discovered with gunshot injuries in the parking lot of the Africa Restaurant and Nightclub, where he was an employee. Fargo Police responded to the scene at approximately 2:11 a.m. and, despite being rushed to a local hospital, McNair succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
