On a summer afternoon in Fargo, North Dakota, a 23-year-old White male police officer named Jake Wallin was shot and killed in the line of duty on July 14, 2023. Wallin, who had been with the Fargo Police Department for just three months, was undergoing field training and responded to a routine traffic accident.
