In the autumn of 2015, the life of 16-year-old Anastasia LaShawn Butler was tragically cut short in what police would describe as an act of targeted violence. A student at South Side High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Anastasia was found deceased on the morning of Friday, October 23, 2015. She and 21-year-old Larry Devon Washington Jr. were discovered shot to death inside a parked SUV on East Wayne Street. The Allen County Coroner's Office subsequently ruled both of their deaths as homicides.
