In the spring of 2021, the life of 59-year-old Joyce Ann Carwile was tragically cut short in her Fort Wayne, Indiana, home. On March 19, an altercation between Joyce and her husband, David Carwile, escalated to a fatal conclusion. The night before the shooting, Joyce had called 911 following an argument, a grim foreshadowing of the violence to come.
