On December 6, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred at the Villa Capri Apartments in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The incident took place in the 1800 block of Fox Point Trail, where officers from the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to reports of gunfire around 8:25 PM. Upon arrival, they found a male victim, later identified as 31-year-old Antonio Cortez Harris, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the hallway of the apartment building.
