In the winter of 2023, a violent act shattered the peace of a Fort Wayne, Indiana apartment complex, leaving a family to grapple with a sudden and devastating loss. On the evening of Wednesday, December 6, 2023, police were called to the Villa Capri Apartments located on Fox Point Trail. Inside one of the apartment buildings, they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds in a hallway. Despite the efforts of first responders, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
