In the early morning hours of a Saturday in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the life of 25-year-old Fashionee LaDonyia Moore was tragically cut short. On August 15, 2015, the young Black / African American woman was fatally shot at an after-hours club, marking the 16th homicide in Allen County that year. The incident unfolded around 3:15 a.m. when police were called to the scene, where they found Moore outside the establishment.
She was rushed to a local hospital but sadly succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities reported that the shooting was preceded by a disturbance that began at a different location and subsequently moved to the club. Shots were reportedly fired both inside and outside the venue. In the immediate aftermath, law enforcement began an investigation into the circumstances that led to the violence.
Fashionee, affectionately known as 'Fasha,' was a 2009 graduate of North Side High School and was employed as a childcare assistant at Pooh Bear's Day Care. She was a mother to a young son and was remembered by loved ones for her fun-loving and outgoing spirit, as well as her beautiful smile. Despite the years that have passed since her death, publicly available information regarding any arrests made or suspects identified in connection with her murder remains scarce. The investigation into who was responsible for her death has not yielded any publicly announced breakthroughs, leaving a case that is still unresolved in the public eye.
