On November 20, 2015, 30-year-old Cristal Avilez was found fatally shot in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her body was discovered inside a vehicle located in the 3000 block of North LaSalle Street.
The investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) identified Juan Zabala as the suspect in connection with Avilez's murder. According to police, Zabala is alleged to have shot and killed Avilez.
