Marion Turpin, a 25-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was found shot to death on April 13, 2016. On that early morning, Philadelphia Police responded to an abandoned residence on the 300 block of North Edgewood Street at 3:53 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Turpin lying behind the front door. He had sustained two gunshot wounds to his back and was found bleeding from his nose.
