On July 9, 2013, Samuel Cave, a 20-year-old resident of Olney, Philadelphia, was shot and killed in a late-night incident. The shooting occurred just after 11:30 p.m. near 5th and Grange Streets. Cave was struck once in the chest and taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly before midnight.
