Late on May 22, 2025, Sterling Roberts, age 38 and male, was found shot inside a home on the 700 block of Tree Street in South Philadelphia. Police and medics reached the scene just before 9:30 p.m., and Sterling Roberts was pronounced dead at 9:43 p.m. from a gunshot wound to the head.
