Death by Force

On January 18, 2023, 56-year-old Carlos Alberto Merced, known affectionately as "Page," was fatally shot inside Belfi Brothers, an auto body shop located on the 4300 block of Josephine Street in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood. Merced, a resident of Feasterville, Pennsylvania, was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest, stomach, arm, and buttocks. Emergency responders transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
