In the early morning hours of May 10, 2024, the body of 16-year-old Mujahid Sabir was discovered by a person walking their dog along a trail in Cobbs Creek Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The young man, a male, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his back, chest, and leg. Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene and pronounced him dead at 7:02 a.m. Near his body, investigators found approximately 14 spent cartridge casings, indicating the violence of the attack.
