On a tragic Wednesday afternoon in Indianapolis, 24-year-old Jordan Robertson Wells, a Black male, was fatally shot on September 19, 2018. The incident took place in what should have been a place of peace, the parking lot of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church on the city's east side. Wells was reportedly walking across the parking lot when he was approached by an assailant who opened fire, striking him multiple times.
