On a cold January day in Indianapolis, the lives of a family were forever altered by an act of violence. Sixty-five-year-old Diane McFarland, a White female, was found deceased on January 9, 2020. She was not alone in her final moments; alongside her was 26-year-old Shane McFarland, who also perished in the incident.
