On December 29, 2021, 78-year-old Doris Bell, a female, was fatally shot inside her residence. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the home after receiving
a report of a person shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered Ms. Bell suffering from a gunshot wound.
