In the summer of 2021, the life of 25-year-old Hayley Merrill was tragically cut short in Indianapolis, Indiana. On the night of August 1, Merrill and a companion, 26-year-old Adam Deavers, were discovered inside a vehicle that had crashed into a tree on East 35th Street. Authorities from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the area and found both Merrill and Deavers suffering from gunshot wounds.
