On the near north side of Indianapolis, in the early hours of May 6, 2023, the life of 24-year-old Olivia Katherine Brown was tragically cut short. She and a friend, 27-year-old Darian Jamar Wiley, were fatally shot shortly after midnight in the vicinity of East 21st and Ruckle streets. The two had reportedly been returning from a dinner outing when the fatal encounter occurred.
