In the early morning hours of November 12, 2014, Nell Gladney, a 58-year-old female, was getting ready to leave her home on Rural Street in Indianapolis for one of her two jobs. Dressed in her work scrubs, she made her way to her detached garage, a routine she likely followed every workday. However, on this particular morning, her life was tragically cut short in a brutal act of violence that remains a mystery to this day.
