On April 14, 2023, Jessica Nicole Cruz, a 33-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, lost her life in a tragic shooting incident. The incident occurred early Friday morning in the 3500 block of Brookside Parkway South Drive on Indianapolis’ near east side. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), officers responded to a report of a person shot shortly after 4 a.m. and found three individuals with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
