In the spring of 2017, the life of 24-year-old Roberta Luten was tragically cut short in Indianapolis, Indiana. On April 9th, Luten was fatally shot. In the immediate aftermath of the incident, reports described the shooting as potentially accidental. The location where the shooting occurred was known to law enforcement, as there had been three previous calls for assistance to that same address.
