Ivan Wheeler, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 11, 2020, in Gretna, Louisiana. Ivan, affectionately known as "Poona," was a student and band member at Landry-Walker High School in Orleans Parish. His untimely death left a void in the hearts of his family and friends, who remember him for his love and many fond memories.
