In the late summer of 2015, the life of a promising Southern University at New Orleans student was tragically cut short. Davon Lee Leggett, a 22-year-old male, was found fatally shot on August 29, 2015. The discovery was made in the Terrytown neighborhood of Gretna, Louisiana, where he was located inside a vehicle, having sustained at least one gunshot wound.
