On July 22, 2016, 52-year-old Susan L. Seel was fatally shot during an early morning robbery at the McClure gas station on the west side of Indianapolis, where she worked. The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m., when a customer found her lying outside the store with a gunshot wound to the head. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Seel did not survive.
