In a tragic event that unfolded in Indianapolis, Indiana, 32-year-old Natalie Mae Kyles was found deceased on September 5, 2024, in what police have determined to be a murder-suicide. A white female, Natalie was discovered in her home on the 1300 block of North Chester Avenue after officers were dispatched for a welfare check. Upon their arrival, they noticed a foul odor and an unsecured door.
After making several unsuccessful attempts to announce their presence, officers entered the
residence to find the bodies of Natalie Mae Kyles and 30-year-old Frederick Valentino Kyles Jr. Investigators determined that both individuals had died from gunshot wounds. The investigation concluded that Natalie Kyles was the victim of a homicide, while Frederick Kyles died by suicide.
At the time of her death, Natalie was pregnant with a son she had named King. Born in Muncie, Indiana, on August 11, 1992, she was a mother to two other sons, Cameron Pettiford and Kyler Bubp. Her family described her as an avid animal lover who was dedicated to helping both animals and people. The case was investigated by Detective Lottie Patrick of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. As the primary suspect in the homicide died at the scene, the case is considered solved.
