A 33-year-old mother, Reonna Jackson, was fatally shot in Indianapolis on May 3, 2021. The incident occurred behind a family member's home on Congress Avenue, located on the northwest side of the city. Jackson was returning from the grocery store when she was gunned down. She left behind a young son.
