In the late summer of 2016, the discovery of a woman's body in a vacant house on Indianapolis's east side marked the beginning of a lingering mystery. Yolanda Williams, a 38-year-old female, was found deceased inside an abandoned home on Jefferson Avenue, near Woodruff Place. The circumstances of her death were immediately deemed suspicious by authorities.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police were called to the scene where they identified Williams.
