On August 2, 2015, the body of Bobbi Ratliffe, a 49-year-old African American woman, was discovered inside her residence in Indianapolis, Indiana. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the apartment complex located at 29 Bankers Lane after receiving reports regarding an unresponsive individual. upon arrival, first responders located Ratliffe inside her home, where she was pronounced dead at the scene.
