A maintenance crew finds a decomposing body
In the summer of 1995, the life of 29-year-old Johanna Weaver, an African-American mother of two from the Brightwood neighborhood of Indianapolis, came to a tragic and violent end. On July 13, a maintenance crew mowing grass in the median of the 'north split,' near 13th and Lewis streets, discovered her decomposed body left in a wheel rut and covered with debris.
