Just before 11:30 p.m. on June 20, 2025, 32-year-old Shawna Renee Durst, a female from Indianapolis, was found shot in the roadway in the 2400 block of North Kenyon Street on the city’s east side. She was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition and died from her wounds a short time later.
