Inity Morrow, a 30-year-old female, tragically lost her life on May 30, 2014, in a violent incident that also claimed the life of her beloved grandmother, Julia Morrow. The devastating events unfolded inside their Indianapolis home on Dearborn Street, leaving a community in shock and mourning.
The situation began to unfold when Julia Morrow made a distress call to 911 to report a disturbance. The individual causing the disturbance was identified as 36-year-old Quintico Goolsby. An Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer, Gregory Milburn, was the first to arrive at the scene. Upon his arrival, an exchange of gunfire erupted between Officer Milburn and Goolsby.
During the shootout, Goolsby was fatally wounded. Officer Milburn was struck in his bulletproof vest but fortunately survived the encounter.
