In the late hours of a Monday night in Indianapolis, Indiana, the life of 29-year-old Kia M. Gooch, a Black female, was tragically cut short. On March 24, 2025, just before 11 p.m., police responded to a call of a person shot in the 1800 block of North Rural Street, near Brookside Park.
