Carma J. Purpura, a 31-year-old self-employed artist from Indianapolis, Indiana, was reported missing on July 11, 2007. Her disappearance sparked a lengthy investigation that eventually led to the discovery of her remains in Kentucky in 2011. Carma was last seen at a truck stop on the south side of Indianapolis.
