On September 29, 2023, Natasha D. Highbaugh, a 41-year-old woman, was found dead in Lawrence, Indiana. The incident occurred early in the morning when police responded to a report of an unresponsive person in the 4200 block of North Franklin Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered Highbaugh in a bushy area outside a residence, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was declared deceased at the scene.
