In a tragic turn of events on a Monday afternoon in Indianapolis, 25-year-old Shainita Nicole Maggie Caffey's life was cut short in a brutal double homicide. On August 5, 2019, Caffey and 26-year-old Miles Cross were discovered with gunshot wounds inside their vehicle near the intersection of Lafayette Road and Tibbs Avenue around 3 p.m. Both were rushed to a local hospital in critical condition but ultimately succumbed to their injuries.
