In the summer of 2024, a young life was abruptly cut short on the near southwest side of Indianapolis. Edgerrin James Michael Hoover, a 20-year-old male, was fatally shot on West Morris Street on the evening of Friday, July 19th. The incident left a community reeling and a family demanding answers in the face of their profound loss.
