Edgerrin, known to some as 'Eddie' or 'Pablo,' was a father of two and described as having an outgoing, funny, and sweet personality.
He had previously worked at Amazon and Riley Children's Hospital. Despite his mother having moved away from Indianapolis to escape the city's violence, he had chosen to return to be with his own family. It was this decision that tragically placed him in the location where his life would be taken.
On that July evening, multiple people were reportedly at the house where the shooting occurred. At least one witness was identified in the initial police report.
