On a summer evening in Indianapolis, Indiana, what began as a regular Friday on June 19, 2020, ended in tragedy. Zyair Ja'Linc Herron, a 27-year-old male, was found deceased inside a residence in the 4000 block of Hampshire Court, near East 42nd Street and North Post Road. Officers responded to a report of a person shot around 9:30 p.m. and discovered Herron had sustained several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
