In the late hours of September 15, 2020, in Indianapolis, Indiana, 20-year-old Emmanuel J. Oluwafemi was fatally shot in an incident on the city's near east side. The male victim was one of two people shot that night in the 1400 block of Marlowe Avenue. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to calls of gunshots around 11:30 p.m. and discovered two men who had been wounded.
