On an autumn evening in Indianapolis, the life of 49-year-old Vernon Williams, a male resident of the city, was tragically cut short. On October 4, 2020, Williams was on the east side of Indianapolis when he was fatally wounded by gunfire. Another woman who was with him at the time was also injured in the shooting but survived.
