Archie D. Moore Jr., aged 33, was tragically murdered on November 26, 1996, in Danville, Virginia. His death was part of a series of brutal killings that also claimed the lives of Elizabeth and Jessie Kendrick, an elderly couple. The perpetrator, Percy Levar Walton, was 18 years old at the time of the murders. Walton was convicted and sentenced to death in 1997 for these heinous crimes.
