In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Danville, Virginia, the life of Lashanda Mecole Deshazo, a 43-year-old woman, was tragically cut short. On September 6, 2020, at approximately 3:22 a.m., police responded to a call of a shooting in the 800 block of Buford Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Deshazo deceased inside a residence, having sustained an apparent gunshot wound. Her body was subsequently transported to the Medical Examiner's Office in Roanoke for an autopsy. This incident ...
